Course Content:
The course aims to familiarize them with the research methods they will need during their studies, especially when writing their papers and completing their dissertation.
The first part of the course attempts to summarize key issues in the epistemology of the social sciences and to present in a comprehensible way the basic methods of quantitative, qualitative, field research and case study. Thus, it is possible to cover a significant range of methodological problems in the social sciences. Also, students come in contact with the challenges and methodological orientations and gain sufficient knowledge of the field of social research as a whole.

Student Assessment Methods
The evaluation of students takes place in Greek (except foreign Erasmus students) through (a) a written assignment at the end of the course, (b) public presentations by the students during seminars, and (c) an oral examination in the middle of the semester (exam combining formative and deductive functions).
