Lecturer on Contract
Georgios Chatzichristos studied Economics at the University of Macedonia. He completed his postgraduate studies in Political Theory (MSC) at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and in Philosophy (MA) at King’s College London (KCL). He received his PhD from the University of the Aegean as a Marie Curie ITN Scholar of the European Union in the RurAction programme [GA: 721999]. He has taught as a visiting lecturer at the European Public Law Organisation (2020-2021), as an adjunct lecturer at the Department of Social Policy of the Democritus University of Thrace (2021-2022) and at the Master of Public Administration of the European University of Cyprus (EUC) (2022-2024). Since 2022 he has been teaching at the Department of Political Science of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki as an adjunct lecturer. Since 2024 he is coordinator and scientific supervisor of the Horizon Europe ASSETS [GA: 101177874]: Advancements in Social Economy through Technological Solutions, through AUTH. Since 2023 he is co-founder and director of the research company SInopsIs which focuses on writing and implementing research projects. He participates as principal investigator in the Horizon Europe research projects ARMADILLO [GA:101168416] and AURORA [GA:101157643]. His research focuses on rural development, social innovation, social economy and qualitative research. His main publications include:
