Spyros Marketos studied law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and received his PhD from the School of History and Archaeology, University of Athens. He has worked at the Hellenic Open University, and from 2001 at the School of Political Sciences, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with subject area “History of Modern and Contemporary Political and Social Ideas”. His research interests include the study of ideology, with emphasis on socialism and fascism, as well as the history of gender. Main publications: How I Kissed Mussolini.
