Lecturer on Contract
Nikos Pasamitros is a contractual lecturer in the Department of Political Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He holds a PhD from the Department of International, European, and Area Studies of the Panteion University. He completed postgraduate studies in International Conflict Analysis (MA) at the University of Kent in Brussels (BSIS) and in Environmental Sciences, specializing in Art and Environment (MSc) at the University of the Aegean. He has been a Visiting Researcher at the Department of Political Science and International Relations of the University of the Peloponnese and a Young Researcher at KFOS. His research interests focus on international conflict analysis, politics of heritage and identities, stereotypes and images in international politics, and cultural heritage and the politics of sustainability. He is a founding member of Inter Alia NGO and creator of the ECHO art and heritage series. He is also one of the writers of the creative documentary “Dark Vein”, co-producer of the theatre play “For Memory’s Sake”, and editor of the comics anthology “Through Black Eyes”.
